Develop artistry and expressive skills in your ballet technique classes.

Open new doors of possibilities for your students. Ballet is more than just beautiful pliés and pirouettes—it needs dancers who know how to connect with an audience as they move. And those dancers need you to teach them how!

In this book you’ll learn:

  • Why each element of artistry makes a difference and how to teach each of them to the different age groups and skill levels you work with

  • Simple activities to help your dancers build confidence in their unique artistic voice

  • How to pace information so that your students can explore their own imaginative interpretations instead of copying what they see someone else doing
