Teaching pre-ballet well is harder than it looks. The technique is simple; the approach isn't. Young children learn through play, and if that doesn't come naturally to you yet, this curriculum builds it in—rhymes, themes, songs, prop suggestions, and a complete framework for finding your own voice with the most challenging age group in the studio.

The elementary levels are where play becomes ballet. Vocabulary deepens, structure increases, and the artistry integration that began in pre-ballet starts connecting to real technical training. By Level 3, students are approaching pointe readiness—and they got there through a progression that never asked them to stop being children to become dancers.

Pre-ballet through Level 3. Ages three and up. The whole foundation, including the part most curricula skip.

For teens and adults beginning ballet: start with Level 2.
